About the Collab
The Springfield Business Collab is a group of local business owners and professionals who meet Thursday mornings in downtown Springfield. It started because the people here would rather send work to someone they know than to a search result.
How a meeting works
We meet at Colt Tavern, 107 E 7th Ave, from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Everyone gets a minute to say who they are and what a good customer looks like for them, and the rest of the hour is for the conversations that come out of it. It is an hour, it starts on time, and it ends on time — people have businesses to run.

12 businesses so far — real estate, construction, banking, IT, health and wellness, farm and event venues, media, and local services. See the directory.
Leadership
JayneAnn McKinney Eden founded the group and Bethany Gill helps run it. Between them they handle the invitations, the room, and making sure a visitor does not stand around not knowing anyone.
Visiting
Guests are welcome and there is no cost to visit. Come once and see what you think — no one is going to put you on the spot.
